White River Friends Cemetery, White River Township, Randolph County, Indiana home An early Quaker cemetery, there are many unmarked graves. Located at county roads 100 east and 100 north on the south side of White River. Was in use by 1830. Thomas Ward, Revolutionary soldier, is buried here, along with his wife and several of his children. As a young man Thomas Ward was captured and tied to a stake by Indians. While they slept, he pulled up the stake and escaped. 40*10'44.28"N 84*57'19.69"W
